Hardware and desktop troubleshooting is one of the most important skills for an IT Support Engineer.

The goal is not just to know commands. You should learn a systematic method:

Identify → Check → Test → Find the cause → Fix → Verify → Document

1. Basic Troubleshooting Method

Whenever a user reports a problem, follow this process.

User reports problem
